Profolio is a resume building platform that allows users to create career profiles, generate tailored resumes, and utilize AI-powered tools to improve their job application materials. The Service includes both free and paid subscription tiers with varying features and usage limits.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Account Termination

By submitting User Content, you grant Profolio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.
4.3 Content Restrictions
You agree not to submit content that:
- Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malicious code, viruses, or harmful components
- Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Violates the privacy or publicity rights of others
5. AI-Powered Features
The Service includes AI-powered features to assist with resume improvement and career guidance. You acknowledge that:
- AI suggestions are provided as recommendations only and should be reviewed before use
- AI-generated content may not always be accurate or suitable for your specific situation
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI suggestions before including them in your materials
- AI features are subject to usage limits based on your subscription tier
6. Subscriptions and Payments
6.1 Paid Plans
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or as otherwise specified).
6.2 Billing

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Profolio does not guarantee that use of the Service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. The effectiveness of your resume depends on many factors beyond our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROFOLIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your personal information
- Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the Service
- Any content or conduct of third parties on the Service
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Profolio, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Governing Law
